In 2002 CSU members sent a strong message to their health care and retirement board. By overwhelmingly electing Professor George Diehr to serve on the CalPERS Board of Administration, we sent an experienced and trustworthy advocate to make sure that more than 40,000 CSU employees have a secure pension and quality health care.
This August 21, when almost 280,000 ballots will be mailed to state employees, we can do it again. By re-electing George Diehr we can keep CalPERS safe from those who want to hurt public servants and we can stand up for a secure CSU retirement system.
