Faculty, staff and students of the statewide “Access & Equity” coalition staged symposiums at Bakersfield, East Bay, Los Angeles and San Marcos last week to highlight mandatory early start, civil rights and access issues.

Hundreds of attendees turned out at these events where the presenters explored the impact of funding cuts on the most vulnerable students as well as ways to respond.
