CFA’s political action funds provide a vehicle for the CSU faculty to help elect candidates supportive of higher education and to influence the outcome of ballot measure campaigns. In combination with grassroots campaigning, these political action funds work to secure the votes necessary for our candidates and positions on ballot measures to prevail.
Financial support is critical to any successful campaign. To provide this support, CFA has established three political action funds: the Faculty for Our University’s Future Fund, the Faculty for Our University’s Future Local Fund, and the CFA Political Issues Fund. Each fund is organized to serve a different purpose.
The CFA political action funds, established and monitored through the Secretary of State’s (SOS) office, are regulated by the Fair Political Practices Commission.
