Much of our attention in contract bargaining has been focused on the Chancellor's "Nothing Now and Less Later" proposal regarding our salary and benefits.

Take-back proposals from the Chancellor
I do want to draw your attention to some of the other "Take-back"
proposals that the Chancellor's bargaining team has put forward.
The Take-backs cover a range of areas. For example, one proposal
would make it easier for a campus president to deny sabbaticals;
another would reduce the CSU tuition and fee waivers available to
faculty members. Yet another of the Chancellor's proposals would
eliminate Indirect Instruction compensation ($150/unit) for
tenure-track and tenured faculty members teaching in self-support
summer sessions.
The Take-Backs listed above are examples. You can download a pamphlet with a longer list of these Take-backs at this link on the right-hand side of this webpage.
