On November 9th SJSU faculty participated in an informational picket demonstrating their outrage at the Chancellor's lavish giveaways to CSU executives, massive student fee hikes, privatization, and take-back bargaining proposals.

Over 75 faculty and students joined the picket lines. Assembly member Jim Beall of the 24th district also joined the lines as well.

Greetings and best wishes for the new semester!

This semester you will want to participate in two crucial events in addition to our regular meetings, workshops, gatherings and actions.

Tuesday, February 15, 11:30-1 Engineering 285-7 will be our update on bargaining with CFA Vice-President North, Andy Merrifield and CFA Vice President for Lecturers North, Jonathan Karpf. Andy and Jonathan are both members of the bargaining team and receive kudos on all of their presentations.
