The economy is rebounding. Its time to help the California State University get back on its feet.
CFA implores CSU students, faculty members, alumni, state leaders and community supporters to unite for a better university and a strong Collective Bargaining Agreement for those who teach in the CSUthe largest system of public higher education in the nation.
This spring, summer and fall, CFA will continue to cultivate relationships with key state legislators who share the unions vision to rebuild the CSU. In the political arena that means more state funding for instruction in the CSU.
CFA will work to elect state Treasurer Phil Angelides as the next governor of California. We also will work to re-elect San Marcos professor George Diehr to another four years on the CalPERS Board of Administration.
