Brilliant! CFA Chapter President receives Fulbright award

CFA Chapter President and Activist Vivian Price has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to the United Kingdom.

Price, an Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at CSU Dominguez Hills, will be heading to the University of Liverpool in Spring 2018, where she’ll be teaching a course on Labor and the Environment, as well as working with the campus, community and labor on a public photography and performance exhibit.

The Fulbright Program, an American scholarship program of competitive, merit-based grants for faculty in over 125 countries.

“Vivian Price is one of the strongest union warriors I know,” said CFA President Jennifer Eagan. “I’m not at all surprised that she is receiving a Fulbright for her scholarly work on labor and the environment, which she brings to life in her advocacy.”

Congratulations and cheers Vivian! We know you’ll do brilliant things in Liverpool.
