Campus CFA Chapters take action before & during vote

Faculty at CSU Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles County adopted a celebratory tone in the center of campus today with street theater, music, speakers and 3D displays depicting the excess in CSU executive pay—all to call attention to the start of the Strike Authorization Vote on Monday.

Thursday morning, faculty at Cal Poly Pomona will be at the campus entrances with flyers and informational picket signs to let the campus know the vote is coming. And tomorrow afternoon, faculty at Sonoma State will take on the claim the CSU has no money for fair raises with a public report on a study of CSU finances with a presentation from AAUP’s Howard Bunsis.

Throughout next week, CFA Chapters will hold informational picketlines, news conferences near the voting sites, street theater, and rallies as faculty queue up to cast their ballots in person.
