Crucial AAUP Election

CFA’S affiliate, the American Association of University Professors, holds its national election this spring, including elections for the four national officers: President, 1st Vice-President, 2nd Vice-President, and Secretary-Treasurer. The outcome of the election will determine the direction the AAUP takes in its work protecting academic freedom and the quality of education we offer our students.

Ballots for this election will be mailed to AAUP members’ home addresses on March 3, 2014. Any AAUP member in good standing as of February 1, 2014, will be eligible to vote. Ballots must be received by April 15 in order to be counted.

For general AAUP election information, candidate names and statements, as well as lists of candidate endorsements, go to http://www.aaup.org/about/elected-leaders/elections/2014-election-information/2014-candidate-biographical-information

Because AAUP elections are carried out under Department of Labor regulations, no union or employer resources can be used to promote individual candidates.
