CSU Faculty On Strike! Join the Picket Line

Only one more day remains until thousands of faculty members will make history on Thursday by staging the first-ever faculty strike in the California State University since the start of collective bargaining.

There is still time to get involved; learn how on the CFA website.

“We are taking a stand for our rights as employees, and for our ability to teach our students while we support our families. We have to save middle class jobs in this country, and that includes right here on our state university campuses,” said Lillian Taiz, president of the California Faculty Association.

“We need to get the top executives of the university to understand that. That is why we are striking on November 17,” she added. “The truth is these issues are symptomatic of a lot of other problems plaguing our public university.”
