Faculty are committing to strike—pledge today!

Strike mode is well underway as faculty plan and prepare for a five-day strike on all 23 campuses.

Throughout the state, faculty are committing to participate in and honor the strike, which is scheduled for April 13-15 and 18-19, 2016.

“We are hearing from colleagues that they are fed up and are ready to hit the picket lines,” said Molly Talcott, CFA Chapter President at Cal State LA and a Professor of Sociology.

Many CFA Chapters have posted online sign up forms to help reach faculty who may not be readily on campus.

To pledge your commitment to strike using the online forms, click here for a list of campus chapters. Then select your campus and look for a post at the top right of the page featuring the online commit card. Click on the box in the upper right that reads “STRIKE PLEDGE—Click here to fill out your strike pledge online.”

If your chapter doesn’t yet have an online form, contact your chapter today.

There also is a wealth of materials you can download from the Fight for Five page on the CFA website, including door signs, documents and posters. Click here for a list of available materials to download.
