Take Action! Campaign for Prop 55, CFA-endorsed candidates on Saturday, Sept. 10

With Labor Day behind us, grassroots campaigning for the November 8 election steps up in earnest. The stakes for the CSU are high, once again.

Proposition 55 would free up money in the state’s General Fund for many needs, which include the CSU and other vital services.

Without Prop 55, the CSU could suffer a $250 million loss in its base budget.

To build support for Prop 55, as well as for legislative candidates CFA has endorsed as supporters of public higher education, CFA members will be taking action through phone banks, precinct walks and other campaign actions.

The first big grassroots campaign day is this Saturday September 10.

There are two ways you can get in on the action:

  1. Contact your campus CFA Chapter to learn how you can join in
  2. Go to “Take Political Action” on the CFA web site to get in touch
