CFA’s efforts to improve the CSU continue

Although summer is nearly over and faculty’s Aug. 1 paychecks included the 7.1 percent increase we fought to secure in the Fight for Five, this academic year CFA continues its efforts to improve the CSU.


Bargaining Update: Lecturer range elevation the focus of talks; bargaining meetings coming to campuses

Work surrounding the eligibility problem lecturers face in the range elevation process continued this summer and will be taken up again Aug. 25 and 26 in Sacramento.

As part of the 2016 Salary Settlement ratified last spring, CFA and CSU management agreed to form a working group to study the lecturer range elevation issue.
