Last week, we launched the CFA Bargaining Survey, which is available online through 5 pm Dec. 1.

The survey, which includes questions ranging from salary and workload to benefits and tenure density, helps provide critical feedback for the CFA Bargaining Team that’s used in the weeks and months leading into negotiations.

Pennsylvania faculty union reaches tentative agreement with management, ends strike

The Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties (APSCUF) have reached a tentative agreement with Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education on Friday, Oct. 21, ending the union’s two-day strike.

CFA had posted a statement of solidarity for APSCUF faculty earlier this month.


Faculty Rights Tip of the Week: Writing Rebuttals to Evaluations

By now many campuses are well into their evaluation cycles. The Faculty Contract provision below applies to all faculty undergoing any form of evaluation, but it is especially timely for probationary faculty applying for tenure or any faculty member up for promotion.
