PLEASE NOTE! The time to reapply for DACA is brief—applications are due Oct. 5.

It means there’s very little time for Dreamers to come up with the know-how and the money to pay the application fee; for many the latter can be a huge obstacle.

The Mission Asset Fund has set aside $500,000 for grants of $495  to California State University, UC and Community College students to cover the DACA renewal application fee. Dreamers should apply as soon as possible.

CHIRLA’s “DACA Trust Fund This fund provides free legal services to all eligible Dreamers who need to submit DACA renewal applications. The fund money helps to pay the $495 DACA renewal application fee.

All over California, organizations are holding free DACA Renewal Clinics and Workshops. Click here to find more workshops and clinics around the state.

CFA encourages CFA members and anyone who wishes to support DACA recipients to donate to reputable organizations.

In a time when upheaval seems constant and our country feels like it’s spiraling out of control, this is something we can do to help provide stability and resources to our campus communities and those most vulnerable.

Together, we can make a difference.

DREAMERS, PLEASE NOTE: Only those people whose permits expire before March 2018 are able to file for renewal by October 5. This means, that if a permit expires on March 6, 2018 or later, it cannot be renewed. Please refer to a legal clinic, workshop, or your attorney for more information on this.
