Jennifer Eagan, CFA president, said CSU Trustees should be more focused on paying teachers rather than administrators.

It really is about funding priorities. The budget goes up and down … No matter what happens to the state budget, faculty salaries remain flat…. [CSU] Presidents don’t teach classes and they’re not generally in direct contact with students. And that’s been a consistent problem. The CSU is running on the corporate model, funding things that don’t go to the mission.
