The California Faculty Association (CFA) has voted to support the re-election of Henry Jones to the retiree seat of the CalPERS Board of Administration. CFA is the union that represents the more than 29,000 faculty, including tenure-track faculty, Lecturers, Librarians, counselors and coaches across the 23 campuses of the California State University system.

CFA’s Political Action & Legislative Committee Chair, Dr. Jennifer Eagan said, “CFA supports Henry Jones for re-election to the CalPERS Board of Administration because of his strong record and commitment to protecting the pensions and healthcare benefits of our retirees and members alike, as well as his demonstrated values of transparency, accountability and integrity. As he is, we too are proud of the fact that Henry is a graduate of the California State University system, and he embodies the hopes and dreams of so many of our students. Henry Jones has a long and distinguished career in public service, and throughout his interactions with CFA, he continues to demonstrate his ability and willingness to work in a transparent and accountable manner with integrity to ensure the best possible outcomes for our retirees and members as well as – we believe - all CalPERS stakeholders. We strongly urge all retirees to cast your vote to re-elect Henry Jones to the CalPERS Board of Administration.”
