Deadline for Queer Yo Mind conference papers extended

The call for papers for the Queer Yo Mind Conference has been extended until July 15th.

Organizers are accepting submissions of panels, workshops, individual presentations for the 3rd annual conference, which will be held Oct. 10-11 at San Francisco State University. 

Queer Yo Mind is a public conference aimed at bridging the gap between activism and academia. This year’s theme is “Queerstories,” which emphasizes the importance of looking at our queer past.

No experience in conference presenting is necessary. The conference is meant to be a place for growth for up-and-coming queer academics. It is an inter-disciplinary conference and anyone who is interested in presenting is encouraged to submit an abstract.
