CFA’s Equity Conference 2023, “Co-conspiring for an Equitable Future: Building the Social Justice Bridge,” will be held virtually from March 8 to 11, with a pre-conference Bargaining Institute on March 7 that will introduce attendees to bargaining with an anti-racist lens. Equity Conference is a project of the Council for Racial & Social Justice and is a chance for CFA members to connect for co-liberation.
This year’s conference will focus on anti-Blackness and anti-Indigeneity in the CSU. Our goal is to learn and share ways to effectively organize and mobilize to achieve our goals for a more equitable future. The continuing themes for Equity Conference are:
- Envisioning radically different futures
- Strategies for co-liberation
- (In)/(Hyper)visible labor in the CSU
- Care and healing
Speakers will be announced as we near the conference date, and registration will open soon. For the full conference narrative and information about and videos from past Equity Conferences, please visit the conference website.
