Elections for statewide positions will be voted on during CFA’s Fall Assembly in October.

Elections Committee Member:

Committee members are responsible for executing Statewide elections (two times per year during Assembly sessions). They are also responsible for the development of CFA Nomination/Election procedures.

Five members of the Assembly will be elected to the CFA Elections Committee for Fall 2025-Fall 2027. Terms begin with the close of the 2025 Fall Assembly. The Chair will be selected by the President from among the five elected.

Candidates may declare at this time, or they may wait until nominations are taken from the CFA Assembly floor. Nominations for these positions will close during the first session at CFA’s 2025 Fall Assembly. CFA members need not be members of the CFA Assembly to run for office or to nominate an individual. Individuals nominated by a second party must submit a written acceptance to the Elections Committee.

NOTE: When a declaration is submitted, every word in the statement including articles is counted and the statement cut off after the 100th word before being sent out.  Statements are not reviewed and returned to candidate for revision.
