CFA & CSUEU Disability Coalition Event on February 4

CFA and CSU Employees Union (CSUEU) invite all CSU workers and students to attend the 2nd Disabled People in Higher Education: Coalition Building on Campus virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from noon – 1pm. Click here to register.
Our first step in building coalitions on the CSU campuses focused on faculty, staff, and students whose work and studies were impacted by visible and/or hidden disabilities. Through two years of collaborative work, we were able to bring to light disability access (or lack thereof) in emergency trainings. All employees must do this training, and now disability access is a part of their learning.
Our next step in our second gathering will focus on developing new leaders across the CSU who are ready to collaborate in building a culture of access! To push the CSU to move beyond minimal access will take all of us working together. Each of us has a skill that can be used to move us towards better working environments. This meeting will provide space and time to begin this collaborative work.
Join us as we build community and solidarity through activism for change!
