Reimagining Access Campaign Launch

The CSU calls itself “The People’s University,” but people with disabilities are often left behind due to the lagging infrastructure, policies, protocols, and campus cultures on all campuses.  

CFA members have been working together to advance disability justice across the CSU. Our Disability Justice Caucus is building a statewide “Reimagining Access Campaign” to ensure the CSU lives up to this name by becoming accessible to all people. That means addressing barriers that make campuses inaccessible for Deaf, neurodivergent, and physically disabled people. 

Through documentation, coalition-building, and powerful public messaging, the Reimagining Access Campaign will create the political pressure needed to drive real institutional change to make all CSU campuses accessible to all students, faculty, and staff. The time is now.
