Building on our successful September Days of Action, CFA will host two additional Brown Bag events on October 20 and 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. in support of Proposition 16 and Proposition 15.

On October 20, Senators Maria Elena Durazo and Connie Leyva will join us for a discussion of the fight for racial and gender equity and how Proposition 16 will level the playing field for everyone to succeed, especially women and people of color.  On October 27, we’ll be joined by State Treasurer Fiona Ma and State Controller Betty Yee for a conversation about Proposition 15, which will raise desperately needed funds for our schools and local governments by making large corporations pay their fair share.

We will also include a Q&A segment, along with training before phone banking. For more information, please contact Kelly Burns at kburns@calfac.org.
