Putting the U in Union
"Putting the yoU in Union workshop series."  Learn how your university works, where your money goes, and how students and faculty can create real change on campus.  All workshops are from 4:30 - 6pm in FDC 114.   1) Budget and Debt 101 February 24, Learn about where campus funding comes from and where it goes.  2) State funding and student enrollment March 10: Discuss how the CSU's state budget changes and what our campus and CSU enrollment looks like. 3) University Governance March 24: Discuss faculty and student voices in university decision-making.  4) Faculty working experiences April 14: Understand tenure density and the different benefits/experiences of tenure and lecturer faculty. 5) Student  debt and educational experiences April 28: discuss the impacts of tuition and fees on student work hours and personal debt.  6) Building Awareness and Action on campus May 12: Discuss what faculty and students need to succeed on campus.
