Faculty Health Benefits Open Enrollment Has Started
Open Enrollment time is here for CalPERS-covered employees, which includes CSU faculty.
Open Enrollment began September 20 and runs through October 15. Now is your opportunity to:
- Change health plans/providers
- Add or change dependents on your health plan
- Add or change beneficiaries on your pension
CalPERS provides and administers a variety of benefit programs and services for public employees, including CSU employees. Healthcare providers negotiate rates directly with CalPERS (CFA and other unions are not involved), and some rates may be increasing. Faculty who want to make changes to their coverage or beneficiaries can contact their campus Human Resources department. Retirees can access the CalPERS open enrollment site for retirees.
