Los Angeles Walk to Support Trans, Gender Expansive, and Intersex Communities

Join us in a 2-mile walk, stroll, or roll through L.A.!  CFA members are supporting the TransLatin@ Coalition in their fundraising event “Walk for Humanity” in Los Angeles on August 24.  

The walk begins at 9 a.m. at Sunset Junction (4000 W Sunset Blvd.) and includes a block party from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the intersection of Sunset Blvd. & Serrano Ave. 

This will be a powerful two-mile walk from Sunset Junction in Silver Lake to Western Avenue in Hollywood. Our CFA contingent will be walking together behind our banner in support of the coalition continuing their life supporting work for members of our community who are currently being targeted as trans and gender non-binary people, as people of color, and some for their immigration status.  

Proceeds of donations to the walk go toward funding the coalition’s new center that will expand essential services for Two Spirit, transgender, gender-diverse, and intersex (2TGI) individuals in Los Angeles. These services include a Drop-in Center, Economic and Workforce Development, HIV Prevention, Transitional Housing, Legal, and more.
