Although the semester is winding down, organizing for a better contract is speeding up. CFA members, along with staff and students, continue to engage in powerful unity actions that show our collective resolve in improving working and learning conditions in the CSU.

Your Bargaining Team requested dates for negotiations on the four articles we are re-opening our contract for in 2023-24. Bargaining sessions will be open to active members and will be a combination of in-person and virtual.

Sign up to attend open bargaining sessions over the summer, where we’ll be fighting for a 12-percent general wage increase, pay equity, fair workload, adequate parental leave, and safe campuses.

Check your email throughout the summer for news on bargaining session dates, times, and locations. Check to see if your contact information is up to date.

Recent actions by education workers show that success in bargaining is made possible by educators, students, families, and community members who are deeply committed to addressing systemic issues that fail students and contribute to faculty burnout and turnover. Our fight for dignity and respect is the fight for public higher education.

Make sure you and your colleagues sign up to receive bargaining updates. Anyone who wants to support CFA members during bargaining should subscribe – including students, staff, alumni, elected leaders, and allies – to find out about upcoming actions and other ways to join in and help us win a better, safer, stronger CSU.
