The CFA Resolutions Committee is accepting resolution proposals for the Fall 2026 Assembly taking place in Ontario on October 17-18.  

Resolutions must be sent to the committee at resolutionscommittee@calfac.org no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, September 18. Any member can author resolutions. 

The committee will provide feedback to the resolution authors by September 25. Then revised resolutions must be resubmitted to the committee by October 2.  

Resolutions will be distributed to committees, caucuses, and Assembly delegates on October 9. Internal CFA bodies and external bodies can endorse resolutions prior to Assembly. Delegates will vote on resolutions during Assembly.  

Within one week after Assembly, all successful resolutions will be available in their final amended form on the CFA website. All endorsements as well as the percentage and number of yes and no votes will be included. Resolutions passed at previous Assemblies can be found here.
