An academic year full of hard work and organizing is coming to an end. Let’s celebrate our successes together, honor the Dr. Lila Jacobs Social Justice and Organizing Awardee, and strengthen our community so that we keep our momentum rolling!

Why a picnic?

We heard a need for diverse and more family-friendly venues, so for this end-of-year celebration, we are inviting you to spend a joyful evening in Glen Hall Park with colleagues, friends, and family. We provide the food!

When?

Thursday, May 7, 5:30-7:30pm

Where?

Glen Hall Park in East Sac. This close-to-campus neighborhood park has lots of open space, a playground area for kids, and public bathrooms. There is also free/easy parking available around the park.
